There was a suggestion from one of my friend to include information about smart phones. Here is something from my hands on experience over Android phones.
Downloading a song:
Go to market application, search for mp3 downloader on that. There is a freeware for that. Just install it when it appears on search. Once installed, the utility will be present in your applications. Press on the application. In the search tab give the album name or band name of your choice. You will get a list of songs. Press on that. It will take you to a page with lyrics to be fetched. There will a down arrow tab. Press on that, the song will start to download. After download you can find the song in the music folder (in gallery) with the album or band name.
Saving an image from web:
Just view the image Press on it for a long time. You will get an option 'save as' which helps to save on downloads folder.
Sharing an Item: Go to the Item (image or song).
Press on the menu button. You will get an option 'share as’. With that you can share to your Bluetooth device or email id. This type of sharing even helps you to transfer the needed item to other device like PC without using a port.
